Singin’ In The Rain

Singin’ In The Rain

Due to unforeseen circumstances, Singin’ in the Rain Live Onscreen with orchestra at the London Palladium on Sun 12 November has been cancelled. Customers are advised they will receive a refund from their point of purchase

One of the most iconic musicals of the golden era of Hollywood will be brought to life as never before this November 12th, as Singin’ In The Rain will be projected onto a huge 40ft screen, accompanied by full live orchestra for a matinee performance at the London Palladium, presented by Senbla.

Singin’ in the Rain is frequently described as one of the best films ever made, topping the American Film Institute’s 100 Years of Musicals list and ranking 5th in its updated list of the greatest American films ever made, testament to the relevance that the film still has on audiences 60 years later.

Featuring award-winning on-screen performances by Donald O’Connor, Debbie Reynolds, and of course, Gene Kelly – who also co-directed and choreographed the musical to Nacio Herb Brown’s stunning original songs, and Arthur Freed’s renowned lyricism, there is little question that this is one of Hollywood’s most revered pictures.

Accompanying the film and illustrating the spellbinding music of Singin’ In The Rain will be the Novello Orchestra, conducted by David Mahoney. Having previously performed a sell out London performance of The Jungle Book Live with Orchestra, The Novello Orchestra and David Mahoney will also embark on a September tour of La La Land Live with Orchestra, proving them the leading film with live orchestra combination.

If you ever wanted to experience one of the greatest movie musicals of all time while a live orchestra performs all that unforgettable music, your time has come!
